Signed, Sealed, Duped: Makeup Forever Ultra HD Concealer

There’s nothing like a good dupe. They’re so rare. I don’t know about you guys but so often I’m misled by some blogger that decides on dupes based on packaging or shade. I’m always looking for the real thing, give me formula, that’s all that really matters. I need to trust that this product is going to do the same as my high end favourite but for half the price. So when searching for dupes myself, I’m always determined to give products a chance despite their exterior, it’s the inside that matters (if only I were as romantic in my life as I am with my makeup). But I have to say, and I’m very proud of my dupe discoveries, this one is by far the most accurate in every way shape and form.

When Makeup Forever released their ultra HD range I was full-on stalking it, I mean it was practically illegal. Then the ultra HD concealer was released and I died. Little did I know, my dupe was already in my collection I just hadn’t tried it yet. I bought the concealer and was underwhelmed. Don’t get me wrong, this was a period in time where I’d been suffering with my under eyes. No matter what I put on them they’d look cakey and eventually separate (I mentioned my struggle with my under eyes in my last post ). For a while I was going back and forth between it and Maybelline’s Master Conceal, trying to make them work; the two works exactly same even in a negative sense haha.

So I dealt with my under eyes; upping my eye skincare game. Sooner than later I was fine, I noticed first with Maybelline: my under eyes looked just like my YouTube videos of Jaclyn hill in 1080p (dream big) and I was over the moon!  The next day I decided to give Ultra HD a try- again I was blown away. That’s when it struck me, is it just these two or are my under eyes permanently fleeky?

So I proceeded to try a million of my other concealers and it hit me: not only do they both work perfectly, the both work perfectly in the exact same way!!

If you’re ever going to believe or be inspired to buy based on anything I write on this blog: let this be it! These two work the actual exact same, if anything the only difference is I like the shade of Maybelline’s a bit more! Even if you’re fine with spending on the more expensive, id highly recommend this dupe just for the fact that you can try out the formula before buying Ultra HD (yes, there’s that much of a similarity). The Maybelline Master range in general is really impressive, but for a drugstore brand to be at the same level as Makeup Forever- that’s beyond (can you tell I really love MUFE)
