With a Little Help From My Friends…

The moment is finally here. There is a slight chance that I’m over-dramatizing this- but then again there’s a chance of that with every one of my blog posts, let’s be real. If you follow me on Instagram or read my last post, I’m sure you’ve also been excited- try adding 3 months to that excitement. This has been in the works for ages and ages and I’m over the moon that I can finally share it with you guys.

I’ve been so blessed, and it’s all thanks to you guys. When I decided to dedicate all my time to this hobby of beauty and writing, I never in a million years would’ve thought it’d end up with this much support. It is all of you guys that have welcomed me with open arms into the beauty community that make it something worth waking up with a smile for! I wouldn’t look forward to writing or photographing half as much as I do if it weren’t for the fact that I know I have all of you on the other side waiting to read and engage with everything I put out! Whether through your likes or through comments, I know you guys are always there to listen to what I have to say (no matter how irrelevant) and to have a little chat with me about it.

Four months ago I wrote my introduction to my blog, rambling on and not paying much attention to what I was writing because surely no one would ever read. Never would I have imagined that I’d be here today with 500 followers as well as hitting 14k on Instagram! It’s beyond insane and seriously unbelievable but they’re both so much more than numbers. Numbers sound great on paper, statistics can be comforting and give me the confidence to try harder. But they really don’t even come close to capturing the beauty of my time here. I’ve loved talking to you all and sharing what I have to say and listening to what you have to say. Every time I log in to my blog or to Instagram it’s almost as though I’ve just met up with a group of friends to chill. We all support each other and care about what we have to say, this place genuinely is a community in every meaning of the word.

For this, I’ve wanted to thank you all for so so long- but I also was insistent that my thank you should be worthy of what you’ve all given me. So I’ve been building up products to put towards a giveaway that reflected me and that I would personally enter.
