My Most Used Lippies…

If you’ve been around for a while, you’ll notice how much of a creature of habit I am when it comes to lip products. I do have a rather big collection, so I definitely don’t have one staple. However, I do usually have a solid core of 5 products that I take with me everywhere and use daily – if I’m honest, I’ll use all 5 most days, I like to switch up my lip look a lot. This core collection usually switches up a lot, but I’ve recently noticed that I’ve been reaching for these same 5 products for over a month now. I thought I’d give you all a little peek into a day in Noha’s lips and share the lip products I grab for most!

I’m going through a serious glossy lips phase. I don’t know if it’s because of the change of weather or just preference, but I’ve tossed almost all of my matte lippies aside for a glossy sheen. I can’t seem to stop buying new glosses, but despite every purchase I’ve stuck to these three staples. First of all, and the oldest of the bunch, is my Urban Decay Naked Ultra-Nourishing Gloss in Sesso. Oh my goodness, where do I even begin. I got this with my Naked On The Run set ages ago and never paid it much mind. Some time last year I decided to try it out and this is my favourite gloss of all time (let me know if you’d like a more in depth review of this gloss, I definitely have a lot to say!). You can’t really see but it has a duochrome glitter in it, which sounds so off putting to me but this just works to catch the light on your lips and leave them looking plumper. Gorgeous!

Next, another holiday set side-chick is the Tarteist Glossy Lip Paint in TBT. Yes, yes, yes! This is easily my favourite lip gloss formula out there. I went out to buy more shades the second I tried this, but I honestly didn’t really like any of the shades they have. This gloss has the perfect level of pigment, and it just is honestly so insanely comfortable to wear. It gives your lips more of a wet, hydrated look rather than sticky gloss and it’s so flattering!

Finally, my most recent discovery. I’ve always been so tempted to try more Buxom products, and after trying this mini Buxom Full-On Lip Cream in White Russian I’m definitely DTF. This is the creamiest most flattering lip gloss of them all. It’s not too pigmented, which is actually great because the cult favourite White Russian shade is actually too light for me. But I use this as a lip topper and it just makes my lips look so beautifully plump and supple. Cannot wait to pick this up in more shades!

I’m sure you’re all absolutely fed up of me raving on and on about the Too Faced Melted Matte Liquid Lipsticks and especially the shade Lady Balls, but I just can’t help it! I’m so happy that I’ve found my holy grail red. It’s enough for me that the formula on these liquid lipsticks is insane, so comfortable and so matte. I need to constantly have a bold lip in rotation in my handbag, just because on most days I end up wanting to switch things up and rock a bold lip! Red has been my colour of choice lately, I’m sure my friends are all sick and tired of seeing it if I’m honest (Aisha, I see you).

Lastly, but oh my god definitely not least; Charlotte Tilbury’s Matte Revolution Lipstick in Secret Salma. Now, this has been featured in way too many posts of mine but I cannot help it. This is the perfect lip product I’ve searched for my entire life. It’s the absolute perfect shade, the most beautiful flattering pink. I love to slather this on, but most usually I just pat it into my lips and oh  my goodness. This is literally undetectable, it just looks like my natural lip colour is gorgeous and I love the finish! I use this on it’s own or under all of my lip glosses, it’s the most beautiful lip product I own if I’m honest. So glad to love something that has such beautiful packaging too!
