L’Oréal Fine Flowers Range Review

L’Oréal have really been taking over the high-street/drugstore game. From the release of their clay masks to their recent venture into the world of clay cleansers. They recently came out with a range of cleansers to match each clay mask, along with this range of Fine Flowers skincare products. The products in this range contain a delicate blend of fine flowers such as Rose and Jasmine. It is tailored to dry & sensitive skin and claims to leave your skin soft, comfortable and fresh.

Being a combination-skinned girl that suffers scarring and breakouts, I often lean towards stronger cleansers and ones catered to my problems. But more recently I’ve really wanted to strip back my skincare routine and use more hydrating and simple products. Now, we all know I won’t be dropping my The Ordinary skincare routine anytime soon, but I figured I could use a gentler cleanser and toner beforehand.

Once I began to research some gentle and preferably rose-based cleansers, I came across this range and it just sounded like a dream. Now, I only ever use acid toners so I was hesitant about this and I was worried that a cheaper cleanser could break me out but I figured it’s worth a try. Let’s see how it all worked out…

I’m. Obsessed. I cannot stress enough how in love with this range I am. I actually only picked them up a week ago and had planned to give them a month’s trial and get back to you but I couldn’t wait any longer because I’m already in love. Let’s start with the cleanser. After my Glamglow cleansers I actually really enjoyed the gel-cream formula on this. It feels so gentle and hydrating while also deeply cleansing. This left my skin feeling insanely soft and smooth and also really helped out with redness, I feel. I’ve been so obsessed with this and I have some other cleansers to try out but I can’t seem to bring myself to stop using this! I’d highly recommend it for all skin types! Sometimes it’s best to go easy on our skin and just treat it gently, and that’s precisely what this cleanser does for me- perfect before all the serums I apply at night!

Now, for the product I really expected to hate. I honestly was well prepared to only use this once. I’ve just grown so accustomed to the stinging sensation of an acid toner and how well they exfoliate my skin. I never in a million years would’ve expected to love a gentle toner so much!! I’m beyond obsessed with this. It has a gel texture and just soothes my skin so intensely. I never stick to using a toner day & night but with this one I stick to a strict routine, mostly because I just love how it leaves my skin! This leaves my skin visibly smoother and it feels softer than ever. It completely tones down any redness or irritation on my skin- I’m just obsessed with how it feels on my skin and the results it’s giving me!

I was essentially sold the second I realized this didn’t break me out. I’ve been suffering with products breaking me out for ages now, and I definitely expected it from this. I just think this range feels so luxurious and high quality on my skin, and it just really works amazingly to soothe my skin and keep it feeling soft and hydrated. I definitely definitely recommend this!! It has blown me away!
