Possibly The Most Shocking Anti-Haul…

At the rate at which I haul, it’s very necessary to balance things out with a good Anti-haul every now and again. I’ve honestly been on a bit of a rampage recently, I’ve surprised myself as well. I just can’t seem to stop buying. It’s a problem, I know. However, surprisingly enough, most of the products that seem to have a lot of chatter surrounding them are the ones I’m not interested in. It’s strange to me that I’m so uninterested in so many huge releases, and I think you’ll find it strange as well. I’m sure I’m about to blow all of your minds…

As crazy as this may sound, I’m sure many of you will understand me not willing to pay the price point. Natasha Denona products sound like an absolute dream, and I do lust after them often; but honestly I just find how expensive they are to be ridiculous. I’m sorry, but it’s just not okay for this palette to be $129 is absolutely ridiculous. Aside from that, I feel pretty comfortable in my collection of warm neutral eyeshadow palettes that this is just completely unnecessary. I’ve also heard chatter that Sephora’s own brand is coming out with an almost identical palette?

They’re. Too. Light. I’m sorry, I was as excited as the next girl when I heard that Kim Kardashian was finally collabing with Kylie Cosmetics. I couldn’t wait. But I’m generally not a nude kind of girl, although I can cope with those that aren’t too pale. Every single one of these shades just looks way too pale for me to ever pull off. So unfortunately I did not and will not be picking this up. The Koko collection on the other hand…

Another shocker. I know everyone’s been head over heels for this release but honestly it doesn’t do anything for me. The colours are pretty and Anastasia’s products are generally amazing. I just don’t like the size of the pans, and I don’t find a palette where i like each colour. This one isn’t too complicated, its not a terrible looking products – I just don’t feel excited by it.

This is an unfortunate one. I love all things Tarte and I’ve been so impressed by all of their releases this past year. However, these sticks just don’t tempt me at all. After watching a few YouTubers try them on- despite their glowing reviews, I can visibly see that these sticks don’t quite cut it. I love my dewy finishes but these leave skin verging on oily, it’s a bit much. I’m generally not too into the trend of foundation sticks in general, and this one definitely won’t be changing that..

See, this one could change. I hate the concept of this; a powder that can be added to foundations to give them an extra velvet-y  feel, a beautiful matte finish, and added coverage. I can already see this just leaving a cakey feel and clinging to dry patches. However, I could possibly be tempted to try it out as a setting powder. Either way though, I won’t be picking this up anytime soon.
