Collective Haul

There’s little to nothing that I do better than hauling. I’m a makeup hoarder, no shame. I’m constantly buying and buying, which I guess works in your favour since I do the deed for you and give you the tea. I actually started this month off wanting to have a spending ban. There wasn’t anything on the market I could really think of that I needed and my wants could wait. Then, I got sent an ASOS discount code and it all went downhill from there…

For fun, let’s start with the most unnecessary and random product that was also the  most expensive. Ages and ages ago when Chloe Morello’s collab with Ciate first came out, I wasn’t too excited by it. It seemed cute but I wasn’t tempted to go for it. Then once they stopped selling it, i started to obsess. I would search photos and swatches and I just thought it was the dream palette. I loved the matte shades more than anything, and the shimmers were the perfect colours I mostly use. When I went on ASOS to pick one thing up- I saw that they had brought this in stock. There wasn’t much of a thought process really- add to cart.

Now ages ago when I did my round up review of The Ordinary I mentioned that the Lactic Acid wasn’t really one that I got along with too well. Well that’s changed recently. I’ve been loving using it, I really feel like it has kept my skin in check and texture at bay. So I decided I might as well buy a back up since I’m working through it- and then it occurred to me, maybe I should up the anti and get the 10% version instead. So we’ll see, hopefully this won’t be too harsh- I trust The Ordinary to always treat my skin well!

This product has been in the game for ages and ages, and I’ve always been on the hunt. It’s one of those products I’ve always had at the back of my mind but never bit the bullet and bought- I don’t even know why. One day I heard it being spoken about in three videos in a row, and I just went for it. I’m really excited to see how it works out- especially since I’ve kind of sworn off loose powders recently.

Lastly, the ONE thing I actually set out to buy. I’ve been eyeing the Pixi Glow Mud Mask quite a bit recently. I’ve been in the market for a new mud mask. I feel like my Glamglow and L’Oreal just aren’t doing it for me anymore. I want something that gives me visible results and deeply exfoliates my skin- so this sounded ideal. I’ll keep you posted on how it works out.

Coty Airspun is the best!! It is getting harder to find though, unsure if it is just all of the beauty buzz but I hope they start carrying it at more shops. I have been loving the lactic acid too! Those discount codes, they will sabotage a no-buy every single time 😀

I have been using the Lactic Acid for days now and while I’m fairly new to acids and I have a very sensitive skin, it was not at all harsh or irritating on me. 🙂 And that Coty Airspun powder, it’s amazing! Except for the smell, it’s annoying my sinuses but the performance of the powder itself is just nothing short of impeccable.
