Lust List FALL 2017

Well, it’s that time of year again… Who am I kidding? We all know I’m coming up with new lust lists at a weekly rate, but it is that time of year where I get to share it with you all! While usually my Lust lists are kind of seasonally influenced, this time I’ve actually found myself lusting after a few random products. Some of which have been around for a while and some of which are new releases. Honestly, am I the only one that’s not super impressed by this year’s holiday releases? I’ve been practically stalking Trendmood and keeping up with the releases, and honestly Sephora have stolen the show with their favourites sets but no one else is doing it for me. Check back in a few weeks when the time comes for my Holiday lust list and I’m raving about every single release haha. Without further ado, let’s jump into the products on my wish list as of right now- it’s going to take a while…

Why not start with the highest in demand out of this list. If you’re an avid YouTube watcher, you’ll be very familiar with the hype surrounding Dior’s Forever Foundation over the past few months. It’s talked about like a magical pore-blurring, natural, full coverage miracle worker. I’ve been curious about the hype for a while, but it didn’t get real until I tried out a sample a while ago. I love my foundations and I’m constantly trying out new ones, but I can confidently say I have never seen this visible of a difference made by a foundation. I’ll save the rest of my raving for once I buy it and try it out, but for now let’s just say I need it. (sidenote: I’ve heard the Wet n Wild foundation is a serious dupe so I’m planning to try it out and see if I can save myself some money).

I’m all about masks. Aside from foundations they’re my favourite beauty purchases. I’ve been curious about this Tarte Tight & Bright mask for a while now, the fact that you get two different types of masks to multi-mask with just sounds right up my street!

Skincare wise, I tend to generally stick to The Ordinary but Youth to the People has been really intriguing me lately. I’m most tempted to try out their mask and moisturizer, so when I saw this set came out I knew I needed it. Definitely going to be picking this up and I’m super intrigued to see how it works.

Possibly the oldest product in the list is Benefit’s Hello Flawless Powder. This has seriously been around for ages, and for anyone that knows me they’ll know my obsession with this. I’ve subtly noticed almost all of my favourite beauty gurus using this powder. They rarely ever speak about it really, but if you pay attention it’s secretly their go to powder. Powder is a product I just never seem to find a holy grail for. No powder really seems to work that well with my skin, so I’ve always felt like this could be the one and I might finally go for it.

YAY- finally a season-related product! The hype around the Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Glitters has been realer than real, and I’ve been tempted for a while but when I saw that a minis set would come out for the holidays I decided to wait. Now that this is out I’ll definitely be picking it up. With something like an intense glitter, I feel like I’d rather have a few minis to play with on occasion rather than buy the full size!

Another heavily raved about product, the Glow Recipe’s Watermelon Sleeping Mask has been on my wishlist for ages now. I do think I’ll pick this up, but I will say that when I swatched it in store it felt very strange. It kind of left behind an oily film and I’m not sure how I feel about that…

Lastly, another oldie that I just never got my hands on. Lately, I’ve run out of body lotions I love and I’m kind of on the hunt for a new one to try out. Brazilian Bum Bum Cream has been loved by many, and everytime I go into a Sephora I have to give it a sniff. The scent is everything and more, and I think I’ll give this a try!
