Honestly, I find joy in people posting favourites later than usual. We all typically post them around the same couple of days, so it’s often a welcome surprise to see one pop up after the moment’s passed. Personally, whether blog posts or videos; favourites are my favourite. I just love reading a conclusive selection of what people have been loving for that month. There’s something more genuine about them than a simple review. Well, now that we know that favourites are favourites of mine, how about we get to the good stuff?
Glamglow will forever be an OG Skincare brand. As many hypes come and go, they’re here to stay. I’m sure I’m not alone in always having a dream of owning every glamglow mask, well recently that dream has slowly but surely coming true ( more on that coming in a blog post soon!). The Glamglow Flashmud has certainly been high on the wishlist, and it definitely didn’t disappoint. This masks main purpose is to brighten, but I’ve been loving it for so many more reasons lately. I’ve stuck to strictly using this twice a week for over a month now and I’ve actually seen results in my scarring, but it’s also exfoliating and deep cleansing. It’s one of those masks that you love using and you can feel the results, you know?
I’m pretty sure this has made it into a favourites before, and I don’t see this being the last time. There’s just something about Wet n Wild’s Precious Petals. Overhyped products rarely live up to the hype, but I’m constantly kicking myself for not buying this sooner. I’ve had my fair share of highlighter obsessions, but I just keep coming back to this. This formula is actual butter. I honestly don’t know what’s in this stuff, but nothing will ever be smoother or creamier or apply more beautifully. I will continue to repurchase this forever, guys. Doesn’t hurt that it costs practically nothing!
If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll have seen me rave about this beauty. Considering how many eyeshadow palettes I buy, I find myself rarely reaching for old ones. I’m constantly trying out new products and so it’s rare for an old favourite to make another appearance. Well, as many new options as I have to try recently, I keep finding myself reaching for the Naked Ultimate Basics every time I wear makeup. I’ve been all about a matte neutral eye and this palette is just ideal whether a warm or cool toned look, it has everything I need and the formula will forever impress me. I don’t know what they did differently with this and the naked heat, but the formula is insane and nothing like the original naked palettes!
I would mention the entire Desi x Katy collection, they’ve definitely been favourites for this month. But, if I had to pick one product that deserves an honourable mention it’s the liquid lipsticks. This formula is actually incredible. I thought Huda beauty had the most comfortable liquid lipstick formula, but that doesn’t come close to these. They feel absolutely weightless on my lips and so comfortable! What I really love about them is the colours though. They’re both precisely what I’m into at the moment, bright orange-reds and fall lips. Each the perfect undertone I’ve always searched for. I’m just in love!
Let me know what products you’ve been loving this past month!
I love reading/watching favorites too! I really gotta try that ultimate basics palette, I have the basics 1 & 2 and I love them! 🙌🏻

I love reading Favourites too! For me, I don’t care when someone posts it! I haven’t even thought about my September favourites post yet lol I should probably get on that 🙈
I want the mini Basics palette so I have something neutral to go with my more colourful palettes! I forgot they made this one. So many more options lol
I love GlamGlow too! The orange one is so good! I love every one I’ve tried tbh which is 4 of the masks.

Haha well I’m excited to read your favourites post as soon as you get around to it! Yesss you need this palette! Honestly, to me the mini ones just don’t have enough variety, and they’re very grey toned. So I’d definitely recommend this- the formula is a lot better too! Thanks for reading babe xx

Favourites are my absolute favourite to write and read too! I still need to try Glamglow…I’m getting close to finishing some of my scrub/clay masks so will definitely check this out this coming winter! (Basically need to check out all the masks I’ve been missing out on…L’Oreal, Body Shop etc etc.)
What’s the difference between the heat and matte palettes compared to the original Naked palettes? (Other than colours/tones of course.) I don’t own any of them but would like to invest in one…but not sure which.

I’d definitely 100% recommend either this or the heat palette. The formula is what’s different really . These last two palettes are just so much more buttery and blendable. They’re insanely pigmented and just blend like a dream, I feel like the older ones were a bit more powdery and chalky. xx

Love these picks! I have to agree, the Wet n Wild highlighters are amazing.
My favorites for September will have to be the Morphe x Jaclyn Hill palette, milani foundation, etude house face sheet masks and Stila magnificent eye glitter thingies 😍😍😍
