TJ Maxx Haul: The Mecca of Bargains

I can’t count the number of times I’ve been called a shopaholic. Well, the truth is it’s a lot more complicated than that. I’m a beauty hoarder, of course. I can’t stop myself from buying makeup and Skincare. It’s a problem, certainly. But I’m not a shopaholic, I’m merely a bargain-a-holic. Almost every single purchase I’ve made has been on offer or involved some form of discount code. There are a rare few exceptions in my collection. My problem is that if I see a greatly discounted product or an amazing deal, I simply cannot resist. You can understand why this makes stores like TJ Maxx my Mecca.

Try as I might, I can’t quite resist heavily discounted luxury products, and TJ maxx is where I find most of them. Granted, it really is hit and miss sometimes. But when you’re onto a hit, it’s always worth the wait. I don’t haul my finds nearly as often as I should. However, over the past couple of weeks I’ve picked up a few gems that I can’t help but share! Let’s have a look at what I found in TJ Maxx…

I can’t be alone in thinking that every beauty lover’s dream has always and will always be to own every Glamglow mask. They’re just such a classic brand, and the crazy price point makes it a difficult wish to accomplish. You can understand my excitement when TJ Maxx started stocking glamglow!

I went a little crazy for sure. It started when I found the Thirstymud Cleanser , I’ve raved about Glamglow cleansers on here before and so I needed to try this one. This was for only $15 in comparison to the retail $39!!! Crazy, I know. These cleansers are such amazing quality, and this one is my new fave. I love using it in the mornings, it doesn’t feel stripping at all and leaves my skin feeling super hydrated.

Then, I died when I came across the Glamglow mask I’d lusted after forever. The Flashmud is their brightening mask, and we all know my struggle with scarring. You will have seen this mentioned in my last favourites, and rightfully so. This mask really does everything. The formula has tiny beads so it’s really exfoliating, and I just love how tightening and firming it is. I’m definitely going to repurchase if I come across this again.

Next time I popped into a TJ Maxx I hit another jackpot, the Powermud Dualcleanse Treatment. Honestly, I wasn’t too excited about this one but I’m glad I went for it because I’ve been loving it. It’s just a simple deep cleansing mask. It has a really lightweight formula, and I live for the citrusy fresh scent!

Did I mention that the masks were priced at $35 in comparison to the original $69? Yes, yes, yes! I’ve always loved TJ Maxx, but these have definitely been my favourite finds there yet.

Well, you all know my love for the Makeup Eraser. It has been my go to makeup removal method for about a year now. I’ve found dupes and cheaper versions, but I couldn’t believe I’d ever find the original discounted! I bought this for $7 in comparison to the original $20! Nothing new to say here, I swear by the Makeup Eraser. It’s the gentlest and quickest form of makeup removal I’ve ever used!

Well, that’s all guys! Let me know your favourite TJ Maxx finds!

  1. I’m currently addicted to Tk Maxx ( European version)
It was a place I avoided like the plague for a long time cause I hate fighting through crowds and rummaging. But the. Early one morning I ventured in and since then I can’t keep away!!

Yesssss I live die and breathe for TK maxx, I was worried when I came to stay in the US that TJ maxx would suck but honestly it’s pretty good here too. The mess and crowds are always so worth it though ahah xx

They had GlamGlow at my Winners one time (same thing as TJ Maxx but in Canada) and I wanted to buy some but they didn’t have it discounted much from the regular price so I passed.

Oh and I definitely have the same problem as you. I love a good deal! Even when I do groceries, I always look for sale items. XD

Ooooh I’ve never heard of Winners before, I’m visiting Toronto soon so I’ll keep an eye out for it haha. Also this is so random and non-beauty related but I might as well try, do you have any suggestions of literally anything to do anywhere to eat in Toronto? Haha, I trust your recommendations so xx

Hmmm lol I’m not from Toronto so I don’t know it too well and I don’t know the restaurants. I was there in June and we went to the Yonge-Dundas Square where there was a Drag Queen show going on which was pretty fun to watch lol but they always have stuff going on in that square. I’d also recommend Kensington Market near Chinatown which is a fun shopping experience. Other than that, I would check out the Entertainment District where they have all the tourist-y stuff like the CN Tower and Ripley’s Aquarium. There’s also the Royal Ontario Museum if you like that kind of thing. The Toronto Zoo is really good and this is the last year they have the pandas if you want to see them. And the last thing I can think of is Canada’s Wonderland if you like theme parks and if you end up over that way, they have a great outlet mall called Vaughan Mills. So I pretty much told you all the places I know in Toronto. XD Hope it helps!

Oooooooh. Well for someone not from Toronto that was super super helpful haha. Thank you so much!! Honestly I wouldn’t know where to start, so that really helped me know what to look into 🙂 xx
