Where Birchbox failed us, Sephora came to the rescue. If you’ve followed along the past couple of months, you’ll know that I’ve kind of been giving up on subscription services. They just haven’t been doing much for me. Even Sephora Play which usually kills it, left much to be desired last time. Well not this month! Granted, I do actually own the full size of a few of these products, I STILL seriously appreciate it! This
might just be IS the best subscription box I’ve ever received, across the board! The theme of the month was ‘Complexion Companions’ and personally, complexion products tend to be my favourite to buy and use. So, while I may be biased, I do think this box is going to wow everyone!
I actually recently received a Makeup Forever Ultra HD Foundation via Influenster recently, and I’ve yet to try it out. The color was a bit off for me, so I’m actually really happy to have this shade to mix with it now. This sample is pretty deluxe sized for a foundation and I feel like I’m going to get a few uses out of it. It swatched like a really watery and lightweight formula, so I’m actually very very excited to try this!
Strangely, another product I received through Influenster. You all read my review a while ago of the Becca First Light Primer which I’m almost running out of actually. I can’t say that this does anything magical, but I still reach for it daily. It just feels so hydrating and moisturizing and does leave my skin looking brighter. Excited to have a backup sample!
If you’ve been around for a while, you’ll know how disappointing this product is to me. I hate the Laura Mercier Translucent Powder , always have always will. But, I can still appreciate that this is great value and an amazing product to receive! I actually think I’ll give it a second chance now that I have this sample, who knows!
Yasssss, so excited for this! I completely forgot about my obsession with this whole range. A while ago when Makeup Forever released a range of Ultra HD Serums from this skin serum to the lip serums, I was dying over all of them. I really wanted to buy them, but somehow I just completely forgot about it! Can’t wait to try this out.
Another yassss from me! The Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops have been one of the most raved about products of 2017, so it is crazy to think that I haven’t tried it yet! I’m glad this sample came in the one shade I would’ve wanted to try anyway. I’m also curious to see how this compares to my Iconic London drops!
Irrelevance- but it’s okay! After 5 amazing products, I’m more than okay with the always irrelevant perfume sample. Am I the only one that just isn’t a fan of Chanel fragrances? I really have never liked one. I don’t understand how people invest so much in them. This one smells fine, but nothing special!
So, how exciting is this box, right? I’m super impressed! Can’t wait for this months box now! Let me know what your favourite beauty subscription service is 🙂
