Four Fall Lip Trends To Try

Let’s face it, with fall around the corner we’re all busy dusting off our deepest berry lip products and researching the next best release. While without fail, every fall rings around the darkest boldest berry lips, 2016 holds a few new trends in its pocket. Berry is bound to happen, but for the more adventurous- there are a couple of exciting new lips you can rock. I’ve narrowed the trends down to four which you absolutely have to try, as well as my own personal recommendations for a product in each category! So let’s jump in lips first!

 

1. Berry Bitten

Let’s not entirely forsake the classic, right? This fall it’s time to try a new take on the classic berry- stain it on! Juicy bitten lips are definitely the way to go this fall. With the cold weather outside, juicy hydrated lips is definitely a look to rock and to help you stand out! Above is a cheaper alternative and a higher end option. The Sephora Rouge Infusion Lip Stains are seriously hydrating as is, leaving your lips glossy and juicy and only getting better as they fade away to a berry stained lip! The same goes for Lancôme’s delicious recent release- and super cute too! These little shakers apply seamlessly onto the lips giving you a gorgeous supple glossy lip and also leaving behind a seriously long-lasting stain! Both shades mentioned above will give you that perfect fall berry shade!

2. Girl Gone Grey

Scary, I know. Grey lips have been on the scene for a while now and usually only the boldest dare to go there- but fall is the perfect opportunity for you to pull off this trend! Grey tones are definitely a gorgeous shade to go with this fall all throughout winter. It’s the opportune time to own this trend and rock it! While there are many variants on the market, I’d definitely recommend going for this recent release, and this shade is the perfect grey! It’s a gorgeous cool purple-toned grey and the formula on these is super comfortable and lightweight- not your typical super dry  matte liquid lipsticks!

3. Burnt Babe

I mean, you know I had to include a Kylie lip kit! Not only do I absolutely love the formula on her liquid lipsticks (I’ve done my fair share of raving about them here), but her recent release of Fall shades has seriously impressed me! She’s pretty much had the same take on fall 2016 as I am, with greys and a berries and this bad boy. This gorgeous burnt orange is definitely going to be everywhere this fall. Like the grey, this has been around quite a bit recently but it’s truly just made for fall. It pretty much captures all things fall; pumpkins, fall leaves- it’s just a must-have must-rock!

4. Bold & Beautiful

Too Faced Melted Matte Liquified Long Wear Matte Lipstick in Drop Dead Red

It is fall, and claiming that a dark bold matte lip isn’t still  in trend would just be silly. While you can rock the previous different looks- a dark bold lip is seriously a classic that we all need. However, I do think a welcome change would be red toned browns. We all lean towards a berry/purple-ish lip, but let’s all try a little but lovely change in the form of shade! This Too Faced Melted Matte in Drop Dead Red is the perfect example of the kind of lip you should all try. A deep mulberry tone is just gorgeous- and I especially love this one because it applies super super dark- it’s almost a black with mulberry tones, absolutely beautiful!
