99 Poreblems But My Pores Ain’t One….

I have enlarged pores. Honestly, it often feels like I have huge craters on my face. After years of acne breakouts and probably over-exfoliating when I was much younger, I’ve been permanently left with enlarged pores. People always tell you that you can’t reverse the size of your pores, and a tiny piece of my soul dies everytime I think about that. So, the solution is simply to tighten them as much as possible with skincare and blur them out as much as possible with makeup. Well, let me say, I’ve tried my fair share of options for both and nothing has worked. Until now…

Pore-blurring or pore-filling primers are all over the beauty market. Almost every single brand -drugstore or high end- has their own version of a blurring primer. I’d almost say it’s safe to say I’ve tested out about 80% of them. I’m constantly searching for the perfect blurring primer, I’ve spent hundreds on them and none of them really worked. Little did I know, a random unknown brand’s affordable primer would change my life!

Over a year ago, I came across Touch in Sol’s No Poreblem Primer on a K-Beauty website during a search for a blurring primer. It sounded pretty good but I didn’t think much of it. Then a while after I noticed Kathleen Lights raving about it, closely followed by it becoming Jeffree Star’s holy grail primer. I was officially intrigued, and it was officially sold out.

Finally, back in August I found it in store in Sephora and grabbed it instantly. My pores haven’t been the same since. Now, let me clarify first that I HATE silicone primers, so that was my biggest concern. The second I pumped it out and realized it was more of a silky gel formula I was sold. I patted it onto the center of my face and it felt amazing on my skin, it didn’t feel weird to the touch like most of these primers do. It just settled into my skin and left it feeling soft and smooth. I didn’t notice the results until I finished my makeup.

I was shook, guys. Whenever I’ve raved about this to my friends, I’ve put it very simply; this blurs pores. They don’t entirely disappear, but they’re very very blurred out and minimized. That’s it. It really is as simple as that. Nothing I have ever used has actually done much blurring. They may give my skin a smooth base but the truth is my pores still show. This actually blurs 90% of my pores out.

The formula is a light pink gel that feels very silky. I use about half a pump to cover my cheeks and I put a bit on my chin. Whatever foundation I wear on top of this applies so smoothly and blends so easily. Ever since using this, I’ve fallen in love with old foundations I hated it. It just eliminates 90% of my texture and genuinely does give a blurring effect. In person, I do still see a few of my pores but in photos and selfies this leaves your skin looking completely poreless.

This is easily my holy grail primer of all time. It is the first primer that I can actively see results with. My pores are blurred, guys. I really can’t stop saying that. The fact that it’s so affordable and has such beautiful packaging is just the icing on the cake. I haven’t bought any primers since because I genuinely think this is all I’ll ever need to repurchase. Paired with a hydrating primer underneath, this is the dream product.

I cannot recommend this enough, just promise me you’ll ask for a sample and give it a try and it will do all the talking. I honestly cannot stress enough how much this will save your life if you struggle with pores like me. I can guarantee, this will blur all of your poreblems away….

Let me know what pore blurring/filling primer works best for you!
